
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, and film actor. She was born on January 31st, 1937 to January 19 2008. Pleshette began her stage career. She was a part of films in late 1950s. Then, she became an actor with a lot of recognition in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). In later years, she was a part of several television productions and was often as a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978 and received a number of Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937 in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. The parents of her were Jewish and were the descendants of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager in both the Paramount Theater and Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
